1. General store policies & medicine verification

Customers must verify medicines, batch numbers and expiry dates at the counter at the time of purchase. We hold no liability for discrepancies reported after the medicines have been taken away from our premises.

2. Offline purchases & return policy

• Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase.
• The original bill is mandatory for all returns.
• A valid mobile number must be registered at billing; returns only apply to purchases made with a registered number.
• Returned items must be intact, unsealed and in their original packaging. Temperature-controlled medicines and loose tablets are not eligible for return.

3. Discounts & promotional offers

• Advertised discounts (including any “flat” or “up to” percentage offer) apply only to selected medicines and products. The list of eligible items is decided at Hayat Pharmacy’s sole discretion and may change at any time.
• Certain categories are excluded or carry a different (or no) discount — including but not limited to baby & infant food and nutrition, cosmetics and personal-care items, and over-the-counter (OTC) and general non-prescription products.
• The discount shown is a maximum (“up to”) figure; the actual reduction varies by product. Offers cannot be combined with any other offer and hold no cash value.
• Hayat Pharmacy may modify, pause or withdraw any offer at any time without prior notice. Prices on Schedule H, H1 and other regulated medicines remain subject to applicable law.

4. Future online shop & e-commerce

Additional terms covering online payments, delivery and returns will apply once our e-commerce and home-delivery service launches.

5. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of West Bengal and the guidelines of the Pharmacy Council of India under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940. Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of West Bengal.

6. Changes to these terms

Hayat Pharmacy may amend these terms at any time. Continued use of our services or website indicates your acceptance of any modifications.
